had an exceptional stay here. the place was impeccably clean, i booked the king room with ocean views, everything was fine. best possible location next to the spindrift for years, the beach and monterey bay aquarium, restaurants and bars were close to the hotel. cannery row district was worth staying in.

Pleasant stay, as always. Romantic hotel, helpful staff, tasteful room. Unbeatable location to Sea otters. Based in a cozy area. Very well maintained building and rooms with a balcony.

This location was marvellous and stunning, just next door to Cannery Row and beach side for an additional charge off 200 a night. Also, a walk-through mirror maze was nearby.

Absolutley a beautiful stay and we will return. Wonderful!
We had to change form 5 nights to 4 nights. They wanted to charge us $50 even though we were still staying a full 4 nights. I argued and they dropeed the chage. I am a world traveler for my job and I have never seen this policy. Also I re-read the concelation ploicy and is not at all clear. Is it really worth making this a policy? Do they have that many people cut their time short? If so why?? Again we loved the hotel.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, perfect location for a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium
The room was not perfectly tidy - nothing terrible, just a brochure on the floor but it made it look as though the housekeeping staff wasn't paying attention

The wine and cheese reception was an excellent touch and we very much enjoyed the room service breakfast, which gave us lots of choices. The coffee was excellent which was very important to Mrs. Hamilton. Also, the breakfast arrived on time, which was impressive.

Stayed for our anniversary. The staff was exceptional and the room was very clean and romantic. They delivered wine and a card congratulating us on 15 yrs. We would stay here again.

The location offers stunning ocean views that made our stay memorable. The cozy ambiance and complimentary room service breakfast were definite highlights. However, the breakfast options could use some improvement and the room furniture felt a bit cramped. Overall, it's a great spot for families looking to explore local attractions.

The fireplace was amazing. The service was top notch and they seemed to really care about the people. A bottle of wine was placed in our room when we were out because they overheard us say we were on our honeymoon. The bed was the best I've ever slept on in a hotel and the pillows were like little clouds.

Everything. The ocean view, the romantic wood burning fireplace, the walking distance proximity to dining and shopping and especially the over the top professional and friendly staff. They left nothing unattended. The two receptionists and Paul Palombo the valet during our short stay, 1/25/11 thru 1/26/11, are staff your facility can be very proud of. We will be back, wonderful experience.

Location was very central. Room was well decorated and pleasant. Valet parking service was great and there was no charge. A box of chocolates was sent to the room as it was our anniversary, a nice touch. The wine and cheese service every night is a great addition for guests.
Although we were staying for 2 nights during our anniversary we didn't get one of the many rooms with a sea view which was disappointing. The continental breakfast which is brought to the room was very basic and dull. No coffee making facilities in the room which was disappointing as there is no in-house catering either. Asked Reception to book a table for dinner but when we arrived at the restaurant we weren't expected.
